Some things NEVER change!

So over the weekend Kyle and I had the opportunity to head "up north." I had a competition and Kyle had an extreme bedroom makeover surprise for my mom. QUITE exciting!
After a very long day in a musty gym, sweating profusely, and a crunching headache I met with my family at a diner called SANDY'S in Ogden. Yes... Yes... I said it GHETTO Ogden. I'm 100% confident that if we were to return to this diner they would escort us out of the building and probably throw tomatoes or something of that nature.
Here is the story.... Very genuine!
So, after a stressful session of hunting people down via text message and phone calls to establish a meeting time and place, the BOYS were late. Normal!
Our conversations became louder and louder as the excitement over the topics grew. Tanah, Randi, and I had our own little "girl" conversation going on. While Josh, Kyle, Ryker, and my Dad talked trucks or the next greatest invention, ya know the "boy" stuff. My mom was zoned in grandma land admiring Peyton and all his facial expressions, signing, and new "words."
Ryker randomly began to laugh, which caused Tanah to snort, that made Josh chuckle and say ATTACK, making Randi wheeze, causing my mom to cry, resulting in my high pitch giggle, while Kyle wonders WTF.... Peyton is throwing food and dancing on the table. Meanwhile my dad is trying to get everyone to lower their noise level and then notices Tanah's nostrils flaring and begins to cackle.
Needless to say... The Snyder's/Stevens'/Vaughan's need to be contained in an outside eating facility.

  1. I'm sitting in a training right now laughing my butt off!!! You got it- right on the money! I think people would pay to hang out with us because they would have a good time. We're just a happy family, what can I say!
